Collaborate with Us
We believe in Denver’s homegrown talent so much that we founded a new organization to focus on supporting it. But we’ll only be successful with intentional collaboration among and partnerships with our communities, business and industry, the social sector, philanthropy, DPS, and local and state elected leaders.
Here are some ways we’d love to work together, but give us a holler if you have an idea.
We’re looking to grow our network of established leaders who are willing to help with a specific need, speak at a Launchpad session, make a friendly connection, etc. This is not like a mentor program. It’s a network of Denver go-getters and change-makers who believe in what we’re doing and are willing to jump in on tasks big and small here and there.
DPS graduates about 5,000 students each year, the majority of whom are people of color who grew up here have assets and talent to offer. But we continue to outsource our talent. In 2019, Denver's tech industry alone imported almost 8,000 employees.
We’re looking for businesses who are committed to hiring DPS alumni and offering them an opportunity to contribute in meaningful ways while also building skills.
Ednium is a new nonprofit organization founded in 2020 and we’re looking to raise money to support our third Leadership Launchpad and second Data and Design Lab in 2021. Additionally, we are working on some exciting research partnerships and projects that will help demonstrate the urgent need to rethink the K-12 educational experience to ensure our homegrown talent has the knowledge, skills, and agency to define and achieve success.
As a new organization with limited resources, we’re relying on social media, earned media, and word of mouth to raise our profile and the stories of our alumni leaders.
