Young alumni have meaningful connections to others through one-on-one relationships, group interactions, and ties to their personal and professional communities.
Physical and Mental Wellbeing
Young alumni experience physical and mental wellbeing when they feel positively about their physical health and mental health, and can navigate to environments that promote their health.
Financial Security
Young alumni are financially secure when they have the knowledge and resources to manage their day-to-day finances – including managing debt and unexpected shocks– and are on track to achieving long term financial goals.
Why this research project?
Ednium’s development as an organization has been an organic process which began with the realization that those who were dealing with the immediate consequences of their education were not the ones who were driving the conversation and changes in the school district. This research project is rooted in the voices and experiences of young alumni.
Our research aims to answer the following questions, and set a baseline understanding that we can monitor as Ednium and others implement solutions:
- What is the current state of young adult agency across each key domain?
- Where are there opportunities for Ednium, partners, and communities to help build alumni agency?
